1. Who operates this website?
Glenovation® is a trading name of Glenovation Limited, registered in Northern Ireland under company number NI059078. Email: info@glenovation.com.
2. General website visits
The website does not use advertising pixels or non-essential analytics cookies. The web server may automatically hold normal access and security logs, including IP address, pages requested, browser information and timestamps, for routine operation and security.
3. Website Health Check
When you choose to run the free Website Health Check, the public webpage URL you enter is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights for automated Lighthouse analysis. Google fetches and analyses that public page using its own infrastructure and terms. Glenovation® displays the returned scores and selected recommendations. The service checks one public page, not an entire website. The site temporarily caches limited results for approximately 30 minutes against a hash of the address to avoid repeated checks. A hashed network address counter is retained briefly for abuse prevention; normal server access logs may separately record an IP address and timestamp. No newsletter signup, contact details or enquiry is required. We do not deliberately store the submitted page address in the checker cache. Avoid submitting URLs containing personal information or secret access tokens.
4. Newsletters and customer communications
Glenovation® sends occasional newsletters, normally no more than once per month, containing company news, service updates, practical business information and information about similar services.
People who subscribe through the Glenovation® website provide their email address to the newsletter system at newsletter.glenovation.com. The signup process uses email confirmation before activating a new subscription. Subscription records and unsubscribe preferences are maintained to administer these communications.
Existing customers may receive relevant marketing emails where the requirements of the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) soft opt-in exemption are met, including where contact details were obtained during a sale or negotiations for a sale, the marketing concerns Glenovation®'s own similar products or services, and a clear opportunity to opt out was provided when the details were collected. An opportunity to opt out is included in every subsequent marketing message. Customer status alone does not establish eligibility.
For electronic marketing relying on consent, the UK GDPR lawful basis is consent. For qualifying existing-customer soft opt-in marketing, Glenovation® may rely on legitimate interests under UK GDPR, subject to the relevant assessment and the right to object. Glenovation® respects unsubscribe requests and suppression records, and does not add people to marketing solely because they make an enquiry. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential account, billing, security or service-related messages.
5. Domain searches and enquiries
Domain availability searches send the requested domain names to the Easynic domain registration provider. If you submit the optional domain enquiry form, Glenovation® receives your chosen domain, contact details, message and any services you selected, solely to respond to your request. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Short-lived session cookies and abuse-prevention records may be used to protect the form.
6. Contacting Glenovation®
When you get in touch by email or telephone, Glenovation® may process the name, company details, contact information and enquiry contents needed to respond, provide quotations, arrange or deliver services and maintain business records.
7. Legal bases
Depending on the activity, relevant UK GDPR lawful bases may include consent (such as confirmed website newsletter subscriptions), legitimate interests (such as qualifying existing-customer marketing, service administration, website security and abuse prevention), taking steps towards or performing a contract, and compliance with legal obligations. The applicable electronic-marketing rules under PECR are considered separately. Consent may be withdrawn, and you may object to direct marketing, at any time.
8. Sharing and retention
Information is not sold to advertisers. It may be shared with appropriate service providers where needed to support hosting, domains, email delivery, accounting and business administration, or when required by law. Newsletter subscription, eligibility, delivery and suppression records are retained as necessary to administer mailings and honour opt-outs. Other personal data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose and applicable obligations.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may provide rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
10. Questions
